VISA Check Card

Eagle Credit Union offers an ATM/VISA Check Card to all members with a checking account. With our check card, you can get cash and make transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at thousands of locations worldwide.

VISA Check Cards offer the convenience of a credit card, but simply deducts the amount from your checking account which means you never pay finance charges. It's safer than cash and can be used at retailers who don't accept checks or traditional ATM cards. Our check card also doubles as your ATM card allowing you access to thousands of ATM's.

Best of all, when you sign for your check card purchases your card is protected by VISA's Zero Liability Coverage. That means you pay nothing for fraudulent activity if it were to occur. Your signature also preserves your ability to dispute a charge, if necessary.

Eagle Credit Union debit cards are accepted at major networks including: Co-op, STAR, CIRRUS, & Plus System.

Visa Check Card Security

As part of our fraud detection system, an alert is generated when a transaction on your debit card appears to fall outside of your normal spending pattern. If you are traveling out of the state, out of the country, or making a large purchase, please contact the credit union prior to your travel or purchase transaction, in order to bypass an alert on your account. The alert will trigger a call from a fraud analyst with the credit union asking you to verify whether you authorized this transaction. By confirming the transaction, you may continue to use your debit card. If the fraud analyst cannot make immediate contact with you, the card will be blocked from future transactions until you can be reached for confirmation. It is important that you provide us with your most current phone numbers including cell phone numbers.
